Hello, I am Paul Etherington, the first point of contact for the Multiple Sclerosis Support Centre.  We are here to use our collective experience to support people with MS and their families and to provide professional therapies, support and advice to help in managing the symptoms of MS.  We are a self- help organisation and many members are also involved in the Centre’s management.

We work hard to ensure that the MS Centre is a very warm and welcoming place. You will meet a large number of people who have MS - some walking, some who use wheelchairs - but all of whom are happy to chat about their particular experiences and pass on any tips about particular ways they manage MS. This mutual support is one of the major strength of the Centre. Equally important is the wide range of therapies that are available to members. We do encourage you to take advantage of as many as you feel comfortable with - the cost of all therapies is subsidised by the Centre. But along with any physical improvement or stabilisation among people with MS is the feeling of regaining control over your life. As our logo states “self help is our way of action’, - and it works.
